Kinran is a luxurious brocade woven with gold, silver, and richly colored threads. Made primarily in Nishijin, Kyoto, it has been used in Buddhist ceremonials, court dress, and tea ceremony since the Heian period. A fabric with centuries of presence behind it.

Shōken is a fabric made from 100% silk with no synthetic fibers. The natural protein fiber produced by silkworms gives it its distinctive sheen, smoothness, and beauty.

Bota-ori
Once offered to a feudal lord, now yours.
Bota-ori is a textile from Takamatsu City in Kagawa Prefecture, with roots going back to the early Edo period. It was presented as an official fabric to the lord of the Takamatsu Domain under the Matsudaira clan, and is designated as a traditional craft by the Japanese government. Its distinctive waffle-like weave creates a softly raised texture that is breathable in summer and gentle against the skin in winter.

Chirimen
Run your finger across it and feel the tiny waves beneath.
Chirimen is a silk fabric woven with tightly twisted weft threads, which creates a fine crinkled surface texture known as shibo. Among the different kinds of chirimen, tango chirimen is the most well known.

Shijira-ori
A summer breeze woven into every thread.
Awa Shijira-ori is a cotton textile from Tokushima Prefecture, formerly known as Awa Province, with roots going back to the late Edo period. Its signature wavy surface texture, known as shijira, is created by the difference in tension between the warp and weft threads. Breathable and comfortable against the skin, it has long been cherished as a summer fabric.

Banshu-ori
The color comes first, before a single thread is woven.
Banshu-ori is a pre-dyed cotton textile centered in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, with a history of over 600 years. Dyeing the yarn before weaving gives the fabric its distinctive depth of color and crisp, clear patterns. It is home to Japan's largest cotton textile producing region.

Tsumugi
There is something beautiful about imperfection.
Tsumugi is a silk textile woven from yarn that is hand-drawn from silk wadding. Oshima tsumugi and Yuki tsumugi are among the most well known. Cotton versions such as Enshu cotton tsumugi are also part of the tsumugi family. The natural slubs in the yarn give the fabric a warm, textured quality that feels easy and familiar against the skin.

Takashima Chijimi

Takashima chijimi is a cotton textile from Takashima City in Shiga Prefecture, with roots going back to the Edo period. Tightly twisted threads are woven and then shrunk to create a fine crinkled surface known as shibo, which reduces contact with the skin and gives the fabric its breathability and quick-drying qualities.

Sanuki Nori-zome

Sanuki nori-zome is a resist-dyeing technique from Kagawa Prefecture, formerly known as Sanuki Province. Rice paste is applied to the fabric as a resist before dye is layered over it, producing crisp and vivid patterns. The result is precise, colorful, and grounded by the natural warmth of cotton.

初めてのペットアクセサリーにはどの布が向いていますか？
初めての方には綿素材のものがおすすめです。播州織や、高島ちぢみ、阿波しじら織など、軽くて馴染みやすく、扱いやすい特徴があります。よりプレミアムな一枚を求める方には、保多織をおすすめしています。
犬や猫のバンダナに和柄の布や伝統布を使うメリットは何ですか？
和柄の布や伝統布を使ったペットアクセサリーには、日本の工芸文化を身近に感じられる特別感があります。日本の季節や行事を楽しむこともできます。

アクセサリーのサイズはどのように選べばいいですか？
ほとんどの成猫や小型犬が着けれるようになっています。どのアイテムも、お持ちの首輪に通して、簡単に着けられますので、サイズに悩むことや失敗することがありません。
※猫の首輪は、猫用です。仔猫用と成猫用のサイズがあります。外れる仕様の首輪ですので、犬や猫の係留のためには使用できません。
洗濯はできますか？お手入れの方法を教えてください。
素材によってお手入れ方法が異なります。
綿素材のバンダナ（播州織・阿波しじら織・浴衣地・高島ちぢみ・讃岐のり染）は手洗い可能です。
絹素材やレーヨン素材のもの（正絹・ちりめん・紬・金襴）はデリケートな素材のため、固く絞った布で軽く拭く程度にしてください。水洗いは色落ち・縮みの原因にもなります。
帯バンダナや和リボン、蝶ネクタイなどは、型崩れの原因にもなりますので、固く絞った布で軽く拭く程度にしてください。
ペットが舐めたり噛んだりしても大丈夫ですか？
L&L Paws Japanのアクセサリーは、誤飲や誤食防止のため、着用中はペットのそばで見守ることをおすすめします。
金襴など金糸を使用した素材は、糸がほつれることがあります。着用後は外して、ペットの手の届かない場所に保管し、定期的に状態をご確認ください。
どこで作られていますか？
すべての商品は香川県のアトリエで一点一点手作りしています。
布も各産地（香川の高松、京都の西陣、兵庫の西脇、徳島、滋賀など）より仕入れたものを使用。産地の背景やストーリー、文脈ごと、届けることを大切にしています。
