  • How We Upcycle Vintage Kimonos

    1. Remove Odors: Air out the fabric for 1-2 weeks to eliminate any lingering smells.
    2. Disassemble the Kimonos: Gently take apart the kimonos, removing seams and separating the fabric.
    3. Clean the Fabric: Carefully clean the fabric by hand with warm water.

  • How to Care for Your Vintage Accessories

    • Store in a cool, dry place.
    • Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
    • Spot clean gently with a damp cloth if needed.
    • Store flat to maintain shape.

I was born in the UK and received my education in several countries before returning to Japan for university. During my time as a student, I founded L&L PAWS Japan to blend Japanese cultural elements with pet fashion, creating stylish accessories for cats and dogs.

At L&L PAWS, our goal is to bring traditional Japanese craftsmanship into everyday pet accessories. In 2024, we launched a special vintage collection that breathes new life into family heirlooms, including kimonos passed down from my grandmother. Through L&L PAWS, we aim to not only create pet accessories but also to carry forward generations of Japanese culture and tradition through unique designs.
