About Kinran Kireji
L&L Paws bandanas in the Nishijin Collection are made from Nishijin fabrics with the traditional Japanese craft called Kinran Kireji. Kinran is a golden brocade fabric, where patterns are woven with gold threads, giving the fabric its graceful shimmer.
The Nishijin fabrics we use are made of synthetic fibres, polyester and rayon, taking a modern approach to the traditional textile industry. Using both modern and traditional techniques, the Nishijin fabrics are made strong, durable, and as beautiful and supple as silk.
Always Reversible!
Our L&L Paws bandanas are made reversible to double your experience with us!
The Nishijin-ori bandanas are reversible with one side the traditional Nishijin Kinran fabric, and the other, a shiny denim fabric, to express a more modern look. The golden shimmer in our Nishijin-ori bandanas will help you shine on your special occasion!
We hope to share the unique experience of our Nishijin-ori bandanas, and the timeless beauty of Nishijin Kinran fabrics, with all of our friends around the world!
